Q&A with Lyncee:

Hello everyone!  I’m so excited to be here.

Q: Where is your favorite place to write?
A: If it’s during the 3 days of summer that we have in Michigan, I write outside. I edit at the beach. But when we are having polar vortex and just your run of the mill gross weather, I write in my family room (which has a fireplace) and watch Food Network or Disney +

Q: What inspires you as an author?
A: Everything – honest. I went to a Breakfast on the Farm with my 8 year old. As we are riding the hay wagon around all I could think of was about all the places there were to hid bodies!

Q: Why do you write romance and why your genre of romance?
A: I started writing while I worked outside the home. My job was very demand and depressing. Hot romance suspense fixed that. I mean besides doughnuts nothing attacks stress like a heart pounding romance that includes hot sex and dead bodies. You know that saying – don’t tick off the writer or she’ll kill you in her next book – yeah, I live that 😊

Q: What are you working on next and when can we expect to see it?
A: I’m working a paranormal romance that has a mer man, a biker siren, romance, and hot sex. Tobia is second in command of The Daughters of Chaos (a bike club of sirens). Malcom is Poseidon’s top enforcer. Mer and Sirens are sworn enemies. They break all the rules by becoming lovers and having a son. The Siren’s want to use their son’s life blood to break Poseidon’s curse banning them from the ocean. The Mer want to lock him away.

Q: What would you do if you couldn’t write?
A: Cook. I love to cook.

Q: How do you spend your free time?
A: I have an 8 year old so free time is sort of a myth but if I did find some I’d ride my unicorn and crochet or cross stitch. I also love to do paper crafts.

Q: Do you listen to music when you write? What is your go-to playlist and why?
A: I create an entire playlist for each book. The ‘theme’ song for A Christmas Reunion is Crazy Love by Brian McKnight. This is a sweet Christmas romance… featuring rescued animals…a spunky 5 year old…and some amazing recipes. Oh, of course, love…

About The Christmas Reunion:

Five years ago, Joleigh Nelson turned her back on the only man she’d ever love to save her father and unborn son’s lives. Now that man may be the only one who can save her home, the New Forks animal reserve.

Spencer Thompkin has spent the last five years in an emotional wasteland.  Unable to let anyone in after Joleigh disappeared without a word.

On a routine foreclosure of an animal reserve, he finds not only Joleigh but a son he never knew about.

Can he get over the feelings of betrayal and help Joleigh save her home – the animal reserve? Or will the heartless lawyer part of him prevail leaving Joleigh homeless and without her son?

A Christmas Reunion may not even be enough to save the animal reserve and restore their love.

Come and hang out with me… we will talk about doughnuts and vodka…
