Today we are excited to share Tena Stetler’s Hidden Gypsy Magic,  the third book in her paranormal romance series A Witch’s Journey. Welcome, Tena! We are all excited to hear about Hidden Gypsy Magic. 

Q&A with Tena Stetler:

Where is your favorite place to write?

I have a room I call my writing cave. Everything is at my fingertips a computer, screens, files, calendars (I keep a paper calendar in addition to my outlook calendar because of a huge loss of data a few years back in my outlook program. I live by my calendar. So the loss was a problem of epic proportions. Better safe than sorry.)

What inspires you as an author?

The voices in my head. No, I’m not crazy (well, maybe a little but only in a good way), but sometimes the character’s chatter in my mind drive me in that direction. The beauty of nature on our camping trips inspires my muse. People watching and listening is another inspiration.

Why do you write romance and why your genre of romance? 

Why write Romance? For me crafting a romance is all about RESPECT, TRUST and LOVE with a bit of mystery and suspense sprinkled in. Most of my characters are magic wielders of the paranormal persuasion. I want to create a memorable love story with spice and adventure. Characters that will grab hold of your heart and hang on long after you’ve read the last word and closed the book with a satisfied sigh. I believe now more than ever people need a fantasy escape from their new normal world.

What are you working on next and when can we expect to see it?

I’m working on the sixth book in A Demon’s Witch Series. I have the first draft completed and expect to send it off to my editor at The Wild Rose Press by the end of September. Fingers crossed she likes it.  If she does, we could see a release in 2021.

Also I’m working on a novel in the Wylder Series for The Wild Rose Press. It will be a paranormal, historical, time-travel mystery. I’m doing research on it right now.

About Hidden Gypsy Magic:

“This house may not have a history of magic, but I’d bet it’s magical. Pepper is going to go nuts when she sees this. You’re going to put an offer in. Right?”

“As I said before, it may be completely out of my price range.”

“I have a feeling the house has been waiting for you.” Gwen flung her hand to her mouth, her face flushed, and her gaze swiveled to him. “I don’t know what made me say that.”

Looking thoughtful, he grinned. “Since the day I stumbled upon Pepper’s secret — then discovered that you and I share the gift or curse of gypsy blood, things have been different—” Pausing, he shoved his hand in his jean’s pocket and jingled the change in his pocket. “I’ve been different. It’s as if knowing magic exists awakened something in me.”

“Join the club. Years ago Pepper made a believer out of me. In fact, there were times I wished—never mind. Whether it was my outlook or as you said magic awakened. But to be fair, I’ve always had what I called a sixth sense with animals, attuned to their feelings, almost their thoughts, fears, that kind of thing. Pepper called it my talent. But as we became close, I noticed other abilities… you’ll think I’m crazy.”

“Try me.” He moved closer to her and the front door banged open. Quickly he rushed to the top of the stairs.

 Author Bio:

Tena Stetler is a best-selling author of award winning paranormal romance with an over-active imagination.  She wrote her first vampire romance as a tween, to the chagrin of her mother and the delight of her friends.
