Why do I write time travel romance?
It gives me the opportunity to read deeply into an era, delving into foods, cooking, clothes and how people lived their lives. While Roman Britain is a long time ago (2,000 years) I have found it fascinating. Writing in this genre also allows me to imagine how a modern person would react to both time travel, and the loss of modern conveniences, while also appreciating the past.
