What to Read Next:

As I collect data on the sales trends for Romance novels (watch for more on my upcoming “6 Current Romance Trends Authors Need to Know”) I noticed that romantic suspense novels, in particular, are driving up sales in the industry. With that in mind, I thought I would point out one of my favorite romantic suspense novels that People Magazine described as “a wonderfully imaginative grown-up fantasy with all the magic of Harry Potter and Twilight.”  New York Times bestselling novel, A Discovery of Witches by history professor and author Deborah Harkness is the first book in her All Souls trilogy. It was recently turned into a Sundance Channel mini-series starring Matthew Goode (who, I confess, does it for me!) and is currently at the top of the Kindle Charts. This is an incredibly well researched and wonderfully written tale that takes readers from the libraries of Oxford University to Venice and New York, and from now to hundreds of years ago. I loved this sophisticated romantic series with more than 3000 five-star reviews. I think you will too.
