Maddy’s What to Read Next and Gem of the Week

Gem of the Week: SaltyGirl Beauty Lip Gloss: https://saltygirlbeauty.com

I was visiting friends this week when I picked up the local paper and saw an article about a new beauty product giving women fighting cancer both hope and much-deserved recognition.

Sarah Kelly was eight month’s pregnant when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She and her sister, oncology nurse Leah, started SaltyGirl to empower women fighting cancer and to fight back. They do this by creating makeup products that make women feel good and that were good for them. Then they committed to donating 10% of the profits to Foundation4Love, a nonprofit organization helping families cope with cancer.

The shades of their lip gloss are named after women battling cancer, selected through a contest. For more information and to shop their complete line of beauty products go to https://saltygirlbeauty.com . And don’t miss their 2-minute makeup routine video.

What to Read Next: The Me I Used to Be by Jennifer Ryan

The Me I Used to Be: A Novel by [Ryan, Jennifer]This week’s What to Read next comes from Crystal, my assistant. She read, The Me I Used to Be by Jennifer Ryan and really enjoyed it. Take it away, Crystal.

Thank you, Maddy, for letting me share another fabulous book that I could not put down. The Me I Used to Be is one of those stories that grabbed my attention and held on throughout the entire book.

If you are looking for a fabulous book that is going to keep you glued to your seat, holding your breath, laughing, and crying then you have to grab The Me I Used to Be. If you are already a Jennifer Ryan fan like I am, you are going to love this book. If you haven’t read a Jennifer Ryan novel and are looking for a really good romantic suspense with plenty of heartfelt drama, family issues, romance, mystery, and just one really darn good story then grab this one. I know you are not going to be disappointed. I know I sure wasn’t.

Although it states some obvious marketing suggestions – have an author central page on Amazon, for example – there is less obvious advice as well, such as their list of book author hashtags or their final advice on spending marketing dollars wisely. There are links to help dive deeper or implement each strategy too.
